I Love Orange

I love Orange. That goes without saying. This is not an endorsement of one institution over another. I have just found that the INGDirect.com savings account has worked best for me. Sure, there are a complaints that I have. For one, I wish that money was immediately accessible. However, it’s not. The 4.00% APY is worth a few extra days. Considering, too, that I was only saving 0.5% APY at the savings account that I had before I switched my money to ING Direct.

Of course, there are other higher-yielding savings accounts (and money market accounts for those of you ready to make the jump). You have to decide which account is right for you.
