INGDirect for Kids

May 26th, 2006 | by Molly's Brother |

Last post of the evening, but I wanted to share this with you. My love affair with ING Direct continues to grow deeper and deeper with each passing day. It’s come to a point where it’s a borderline sickness. It’s come to a point where I would get in a bar fight to defend the honor of ING. It’s that bad.

Even if I wasted the better part of my lunch hour on PlanetOrange, ING Direct’s website that is targeted at teaching kids the basics of money and personal finance. If I had a child, I would sit down with him immediately and traverse through PlanetOrange. The graphics are engaging; the lessons are simple, yet valuable. I was having way too much fun on my lunch hour (Hello. Life? Party of one? Your table’s ready). Head on over to the site…just look out for the boss.

P.S. I would love to hear anyone’s personal experience with HSBC or Emigrant.
