HSBC Direct Savings Account at 4.80%

HSBCDirect has increased its APY to 4.80% for savings accounts. Again, I’m in love with online savings accounts. For those of you who don’t have a ton of money to invest, but want to make some money on savings (while still keeping the funds liquid), online savings accounts are such a great alternative to their bricks-and-mortar sisters. I find that INGDirect is a great online bank, too. Do your research and find out what company will best serve your personal banking needs.
