Ways To Save: Goldstar Events

Sign up at GoldstarEvents.com and you’ll get email alerts that provide discounted tickets to plays, concerts, and other events in your area. A quick glance at events in the Los Angeles area showed theatre tickets for 35%-50% off face value. As someone who likes to take advantage of public and cultural events going on around, this is the find of the week for me!
Jenn also mentioned that–in addition to providing email alerts to events that you are aware of–Goldstar Events also sends you links and updates to smaller happenings that you might not typically be aware of. (Jenn calls these “hidden gems.”)
Unfortunately, though, the site only lists events for the following metropolitan areas:
- Chicago
- Las Vegas
- Los Angeles
- San Diego
- San Francisco Bay Area
- Washington, D.C.
I believe that, even though you’re trying to eliminate your debt, you should still take advantage of the events in your community. It’s great when I find a site that allows you to do so without destroying your budget.
