    “Free” Credit Reports Update

    In early September, I wrote about an MSNBC report warning consumers about the difference between AnnualCreditReport.com and the not-so-free freecreditreport.com

    This week, Bob Sullivan reported that the Florida state attorney general’s office is investigating Experian’s FreeCreditReport.com as a result of misleading advertising, deceptive domain names as well as some other questionable business practices associated with Experian-owned websites.
