Quick Tips For Online Shopping
December 6th, 2006 | by Molly's Brother |Below are some quick tips for online shopping this Christmas season:
1. Comparison Shop–Once you’ve figured out what you’re going to buy someone, comparison shop on different websites and weigh your options. In addition to the price difference, don’t forget to take into account sites that offer free shipping.
2. Remeber [tag]Coupon Codes[/tag]–Google is your friend. So are coupon codes. Do a google search for “[name of store] coupon code.” Or you can go to http://currentcodes.com and see what offers are currently available.
3. [tag]Online Security[/tag]–When you are shopping, if you’re putting in sensitive information makes sure the url changes from “http” to “https”. That extra “s” is telling you that, chances are, your transaction will be secure.
4. Thoughts About [tag]Credit Cards[/tag]–Think about using your credit card instead of your debit card. Credit cards offer more protections for consumers than debit cards do.
A couple of months ago, I also posted this about shopping online. Take a look.
Also, I’ve set aside some books and items that can be great gifts for family members and friends. Please head on over to my store, powered by Amazon.comÂ
