Sunday Morning Around the Blogosphere

January 7th, 2007 | by Molly's Brother |

From time-to-time, I like to highlight other creative posts written by my fellow bloggers from locations far and wide. Here are a few samplings of the insightful and hysterical personal finance-related musings from others.

The Frugal Duchess shares the lessons that she’s learned by watching Ugly Betty. And she’s watching it quite frugally, I might add, as she watches a replay on ABC.com. (In this age of iTunes downloads, I think it’s funny that watching broadcast television for free over the internet is lauded as a frugal act! Wasn’t TV completely free only a scant 50 years ago before the age of cable?)

Michael at It’s Your Money has an amusing post about at Prosper.com individual asking for a loan for a breast augmentation. Hmmm, it’s no wonder that this is her third loan request.

Single Ma decries one of my least favorite human experiences, next to laundry. Except that–as she notes–she has a dutiful daughter she can hand off the duties to, whereas I have no child running around ready to offer a helping hand.
