Apartment Hunting: Compare Rents in Your Area
April 4th, 2007 | by Molly's Brother |A co-worker of mine is having rent woes. He was recently–and unceremoniously–evicted from a house he was sharing with a couple of other people. Nice guy. Didn’t gel with the pothead that owned the house and his pothead friends.
Go figure.
He quickly moved in with another friend, but he doesn’t want to wear out his welcome (understandably). In helping him search for apartments in the Los Angeles area, I came across a wonderful way to find and compare rents in your area. I am sure you already may know about it, but will pass it on anyway. (Plus, if you’re like me, you know of things, you see things, you read things on the Internet…but forget to bookmark the pages. Thus, you never see them again.)
