Reader Question: How can I make money at my desk?
May 9th, 2007 | by Molly's Brother |From time-to-time, readers of this blog send me questions via email. Unfortunately, many times, I can’t answer the questions directly. I am not a professional financial advisor. I don’t give specific advice. I only provide general information.
However, a reader asked me today: Do you know of any easy ways to make money at my desk? My answer: Absolutely! (And by “at your desk,” I know he didn’t mean during work, because the way he should be making money at his desk is by…oh, I don’t know…working?)
But there is a way to make easy money. It isn’t a ton of money, but it is money.
PennyEarned.netÂ
It’s a great new paid-to-try site with fantastic offers. Most of the offers on PennyEarned.net are free (no cost to you). Most of the offers require that you submit and email or fill out a form. Some of the offers require that you participate in a trial. But the money you will earn from each trial is much more than the actual cost of the trial. People have become quite skilled at filling out offers and getting paid for them. Some of the offers they like (and continue with) and some they cancel before the end of the trial period. While this might be considered fraudulent, can they really come after you for cancelling a free trial?
The main difference between the free signups and the paid offers is quite substantial. The trials usually pay good cash (anywhere from $10 to $20 to $50), whereas the quick forms pay twenty-five cents to $1.00
I am amazed that people can actually make thousands of dollars off of these. Although most can make a couple of hundred (easily). So, head on over to PennyEarned.net and sign-up.
Be judicious in how you approach these offers (i.e. don’t sign up for repeated offers that may end up hurting your credit) and please remember that you do need to provide accurate information, otherwise your account will be suspended.
